Attendance
The Ministry of Education attendance goal is to get 80% of students to attend 90% of the time. The following is Nukumea Primary’s attendance management process to achieve this.
Daily Attendance Process
When a child cannot attend school, whānau are required to communicate with the office (either via Hero, button below, or email) stating the reason why they are away. Each school day, if your child is away and we have not heard why, the office will make contact. If the office does not receive a response, the child will be marked as truant unless a forthcoming explanation is received.
